How do I book a vehicle?Start by filling out the Rental Enquiry form. We will promptly provide you with a quote if the vehicle is available. To secure your booking, a 20% deposit is required. We will send you the rental agreement and terms and conditions, which you need to fill out and sign. The balance is due no later than 2 days before your scheduled pick-up date. You can access the Enquiry form by navigating to the "SUV Rental" tab in the header, where you'll find the "book now" option in the submenu.

What is the refund policy:Refunds are issued for cancellations made at least one week prior to the booking date, subject to a 20% service charge. Cancellations made within one week of the booking date are not eligible for refunds.

What are the requirements for renting a vehicle?Minimum Age: The minimum age for renting a car is 21 years. However, please note that if you are under 25 years of age, there may be a surcharge applied. Driver's License Validity: Your driver's license must be valid, and you must have held it for at least 3 years from the date of issue.

What documents do I need to submit?To rent a vehicle, you'll need to provide the following documents: 1. A valid passport or ID for identification purposes. 2. A valid driver's license, allowing you to legally operate the vehicle (you must have held the licence for at least 3 years)

Who is allowed to operate the vehicle during the rental period?Only authorized "additional drivers" are permitted to drive the vehicle. The same requirements pertaining to age and license validity apply to these additional drivers. "Additional drivers" must be listed in the rental agreement.

Where is the pickup and drop-off location for the rental vehicle?When you drop off the vehicle, a vehicle inspection sheet will be completed. This sheet will mark any bumps, dents, scratches, or other notable aspects of the vehicle, along with recording the fuel level, mileage, and any extra accessories in the car. You'll have an opportunity to walk around the vehicle and review the inspection sheet. Once both you and the representative are satisfied with the inspection, you will sign off on it, and the keys will be handed over. It's important to note that the same process will also take place when handing the vehicle back to the company at the end of the rental period. This ensures transparency and agreement on the vehicle's condition both at the beginning and end of your rental.

What is the minimum and maximum rental duration?The minimum rental period is 2 days, and there is no maximum limit, allowing for extended rental durations as needed.

Are there area or distance limitations?There are no geofencing restrictions; however, you are not allowed to cross international borders. Additionally, please ensure you do not trespass on private land or violate any national rules during your rental period.

How many kilometers are included per day?You are provided with an allowance of 200 kilometers per day during your rental. It's worth noting that you can exceed the daily limit of 200 kilometers on any given day as long as the total distance driven within the entire rental period does not surpass the overall limit. For example, if you rent a vehicle for 5 days a total of 1000km can be driven throughout the trip (you can do more than 200km in a day provided that the total does not exceed the 1000km overall total. Any additional kilometers beyond the daily limit will incur a charge of R5 per extra kilometer.

How much do extra km's cost?The cost for each extra kilometer driven beyond the allowed limit is R5 per kilometer.

Is smoking allowed in the vehicle?Smoking is not allowed in the vehicle.

What happens if the car breaks down or gets damaged during the rental?In the event of a breakdown, please contact us immediately. We will arrange for the removal or pickup of the vehicle. After determining the cause of the vehicle's fault, if the issue is on our side, we will refund the rental fees for the days when the car is out of order, or provide an alternative vehicle for your use. However, if the fault is a result of negligence during the rental, the insurance policy will come into effect.

What happens if an accident occurs?If an accident occurs, please follow these steps: 1. Report the accident immediately to the Company. 2. Gather the details of all persons involved, including any witnesses, and obtain a police report if applicable. It's advisable to create a sketch plan of the accident scene. 3. Do not make any admission that you were at fault and avoid making or promising any payments related to the accident.

How are traffic fines and offenses handled during the rental period?Any traffic fines and infringements incurred during the rental are the responsibility of the renter. These fines will be deducted from your deposit or billed to your credit card along with an additional R500 handling fee per traffic offence.

Does the car need to be returned with a full tank of fuel?Yes, the vehicle should be returned with a full fuel tank. If the vehicle requires refueling upon return, a refueling fee of R300 will be charged, in addition to the cost of the fuel at the current local price.
